Mental Health Counselor 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• conduct mental health assessments 
• developing individual treatment plans for patients 
• leading individual or group therapy sessions
• Running preventative mental wellness classes or workshops
• making referrals for treatments 

Salary: $41,880
Education:
             Some education is required to become a mental health counselor. One must have at most a master's degree. Before the Masters degree a Bachelor's degree is needed which can be completed in a number of fields. Bachelors degrees take 4 years to complete and a Masters degree takes about 2-3 years.
Demand or needs for this profession:

• Licensing by your state 
• Connect with people easily
• Discuss their problems and issues
• Good written and verbal communications skills 

Reflection: 

           I would not like to become a mental health counselor but if all backfires this seems like a cool career to follow up on. I want to do something in the forensic field but if it doesn't work out i can do this because i like helping people
