Cruelty Free Makeup 

         

          Many makeup brands sell their products all over the world. In order for a makeup company to sell in China they must test their products on animals. Many people are against it and i am too. We shouldn't be putting innocent animals at risk for death because we want to have our faces look nice. We shouldn't be letting animals see the dark side of their life so everyone else can see the "pretty" side of ours. This is why i want to do research on this topic. People are unaware of this and they shouldn't be killing animals. This is an important topic and i want to address it. More and More brands are going cruelty free everyday. As more people are becoming more aware of the terrible conditions these animals are put through they are choosing the cruelty free brands.They’re tortured, maimed, blinded, and even killed.Since brands do not want to lose their income and go bankrupt they are switching over to being cruelty free. One may wonder, well what are we supposed to use in order to insure our products are safe. Technology has come up with many alternatives and save animals. For example, many companies choose to use In-vitro testing. This testing is used to confirm the lack of certain toxic properties and their ingredients in both cosmetic and personal care products. Many dogs and cats are being used commonly for animal testing. Imagine your beloved pet being killed so you get your favorite makeup product. Its not going to be your favorite anymore is it? Many governments have also been banning testing on animals. Many counties have already banned animal testing for cosmetics on finished products and ingredients. Some governments that have banned this include, European Union, Israel, India, Norway, Switzerland, South Korea, and New Zealand have all banned animal testing. I believe we should choose and encourage as much as we can to make all brands and companies go cruelty free. We will not only feel better ourselves but we will be saving poor innocent creatures.
