Marijuana can have a negative effect on you and can result in...

• Irritation to the lungs, similar to tobacco smoke 
•  Rise in depression symptoms  
• Memory Problems 
• Increase risk of gaining lung cancer 
• A weaker Immune system 
• A heart attack 
• Anxiety 
• Increased heart rate resulting in a heart attack 

Approximately 15.6% of eight graders have reported using marijuana, 33.7% of 10th graders and 44.4% of 12th graders. 

Promoting Non-Marijuana Usage 

   In order to prevent the use of marijuana by

kids we can try and make marijuana shops

less accesible to kids and make them be

placed at a certain distance from schools

so kids do not have walking access to this drug. We can also show kids what happens when the use of this drug is overused and what happens to the body to show kids that it indeed has harmful effects to the body. 

I promise i will never touch marijuana no matter the reason or benefit it could give me. It has negative affects on my body and i want to stay clean and healthy.
