Duties and Responsibilities 

• Provide treatment for patients who have gum disease
• Treat those who l treat patients who have issues of the gums and bones surrounding the jaw
•  Placing implants
• Develop treatment plans
• Providing preventative care
• Help patients resolve their issues like tooth sensitivity

Salary: $168,697

Education:

• Bachelors degree
• Dental School 
• Residency in periodontics

Demand or Requirements:

• Passing of the Dental Admissions Test
• Attending of a residency program
• Licensing 
• Passing of additional written and practical exams
• Dental Degree
• Board Certification renewal is needed every 6 years
