"I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and i can change that(poverty). It depends upon how hard i want to work, and i decided that i would change it."

       You determine how you want your life to be. That's the fun part. Ben is trying to say that poverty is a choice you make as your older because you can become something great in life and take yourself out of poverty. Ben mentioned that a way to to change and get yourself out of poverty. He said that you can change your education and reach for high goals. He also mentioned that motivation and support by those you love will help. He wants others like him to be able to rise in success like him. He changed his life for himself and took himself out of poverty. He became a doctor and ran for president. He changed for himself. He changed without affecting or damaging anyone. If you want something go for it. Accomplish your goals and dreams and watch yourself grow out of poverty and watch your happiness grow with it as well.
